Sal DeAngelis and his four siblings grew up in Winslow and are all proud graduates of Winslow High School. An outstanding student, Sal was a member of the National Honor Society, played football for legendary coach Emil Nasser and served as student body president during the 1958-59 academic year. He passed away in November, 2021 and his family would like to “pay it forward” by offering a scholarship in his name to a deserving Winslow High School graduate.

Award: $500

Due: 3/25/2022

Selection criteria:

1. Must be a member of the W.H.S. graduating class of 2022
2. Must have participated in W.H.S. student government (STUCO)
3. Must enroll in an accredited university, community college or trade/vocation school immediately after high school graduation
4. Must have achieved a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of application
5. Must submit letters of recommendation from two members of the W.H.S. faculty or staff
