HOSA - Future Healthcare Professionals

Winslow High School Sports Medicine is a member of the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), Health Occupations Students of America or HOSA.  The CTSO’s emulate the Professional Associations found within each career/technical field. 

WHS Sports Medicine students are eligible to join HOSA and have the opportunity for further career exploration, Regional/State/National competitions, and leadership opportunities.  National HOSA defines itself as “The international organization provides a great way for students to develop skills necessary to become leaders in the health field.”

WHS HOSA partners with Colorado Plateau Center for Health Professions at North Country Healthcare (formerly Northern Arizona Area Health Education Center - NAHEC), which provides us with on-site and/or virtual educational opportunities, Healthcare Field presentations, job shadowing, and offers financial assistance for competition, and travel expences.
