Dear WHS Families, 
 
I am posting this message to let you know of my resignation as the school social worker, effective June 2, 2023.
It has been a privilege to serve as a member of the Winslow High School community.  I am grateful for the experience and have learned a great deal from colleagues, students and families that I have had the honor of serving. I am proud of the work we have accomplished together and I am confident that the support and care provided by the WHS counseling team will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of students and families.

Our Mission:

 

The mission of the Winslow High School Counseling Program, in partnership with parents, community and the Winslow Unified School District is to empower all students with the academic, career, and personal/social skills necessary to develop as well adjusted, self-aware individuals who are productively involved in reaching their greatest personal and academic potential. Through collaboration, school counselors establish a tiered support system for all students to teach them the knowledge and skills needed to maximize their contribution to their communities. Students are challenged to become college and career ready, in a safe and comfortable environment where all students have equal opportunities.
