Local Chapter 856 of the Experimental Aviation Association is seeking wo candidates to send to the Air Academy held each summer in Oshkosh, WI. The academy consists of a week of exposure to aviation topics and is held at the sit of Oshkosh fly-in, aviation's largest event! The Academy dates are July 26-August 3, 2024. Youths from ages 16-18 (age at the start of camp) may apply. More details may be found at

Applications for the sponsorship begin with an essay from the applicant explaining why he or she would like to attend the Air Academy. The essay must be mailed or delivered to Flagstaff Airport, ATTN: Claire Harper, 6200 S Pulliam Dr., Flagstaff, AZ 86005. Deadline for submissions is February 16th, 2024. There is no minimum or maximum length for the essay. Previous Awardees are not eligible. Include your DOB.
