University of Arizona/USDA AgDiscovery Camp Applications Close

The Ag Discovery Camp is a free summer outreach program to help teenagers explore careers in agricultural sciences. AgDiscovery students will live on a college campus (AWC week 1 and UA Tucson week 2) for two weeks and learn from university professors and USDA experts—plant and animal scientists, biotechnologists, veterinarians, wildlife biologists, administrative professionals, and others. Students gain hands-on experience through labs, workshops, and field trips; participate in character- and team-building activities; and join many other fun and educational events. It's a unique chance to get a first-hand look at agriculture's many exciting career paths.

The 2024 USDA AgDiscovery Program applications are live and ready for students to apply. The application deadline is Friday—April 5th
