Financial Aid Information

Federal Deadlines

The FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central time (CT) on June 30, 2026. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sept. 12, 2026.

College and Career/Trade School Deadlines

Each college and career/trade school may have its own deadline. Check with the school you’re interested in attending. You may also want to ask about the school’s definition of an application deadline. For example, the deadline could be the date your FAFSA form is processed or the date the school receives your processed FAFSA data.

Stay informed about the changes and receive up-to-date notifications and information:

Did you fill out a FAFSA form for 2025-26? Log in to your StudentAid.gov account and be sure we’ve got your current email address. Once the exact FAFSA launch date is announced, we expect to send out an email to students (and parents of dependent students) who applied on the 2025-26 form, reminding them to apply for 2026–27.
Didn’t submit a 2025-26 FAFSA form? Make sure to create your StudentAid.gov account—and remember your username and password so you can access and submit the 2026-27 FAFSA form when it is available.

Tri-University Events (September 15th)

Arizona’s public universities, Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona are committed to keeping students throughout Arizona well-informed about the incredible college-going opportunities available to students in their home state. All three universities have teamed up to host information sessions for prospective students and families, as well as counselors, throughout the year. See below:

- High School Student Events: These events are designed for high school students, and their family members, to learn about campus life, how to apply, and finding your fit at an in-state university.
- High School Counselor Events & Resources: These events & resources are designed for high school counselors, to learn about new programs, updates for the year ahead, review admission requirements, financial aid information, and the evaluation process.

ASU’s Application for Admission is now available for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Incoming first-year students may now apply via the ASU Application or the Common Application.
Students are able to self-report high school grades for a faster admission decision. Students are required to submit transcripts for all institutions they have attended.

High School transcripts sent by counselors and administrators to reps are accepted as official.

Students can view degree information, potential careers, program admission requirements, and more through the Undergraduate Degree Search.
Submission of ACT or SAT scores are not required, but highly recommended for merit-based scholarship consideration.
There is no code for an application fee waiver - it is built into the ASU Application.

Important Deadlines

November 1: Barrett, The Honors College Application opens. Students do not have to be admitted to ASU before applying and are encouraged to apply 4 weeks in advance of the Barrett deadlines. Closes Feb 1, 2026.
October 1: ASU Scholarship Portal opens. The Scholarship Portal allows students to search, save, and apply for scholarships. Many scholarships have an early spring deadline, so students are encouraged to apply early.
October 1: ASU Enrollment Deposit opens. The Enrollment Deposit is a way for students to commit to ASU and reserve their spot in the upcoming class.
November 1 is ASU’s priority application deadline.
Regular Admission Date is January 15., 2026. Make sure to complete your Fall 2026 admission by this date.

For fall term priority enrollment, the deposit is due by May 1, after which it is non-refundable. We recommend completing your application early in the spring term to ensure you meet the priority deadline. However, you can still apply and pay your enrollment deposit on any date, even after May 1.
