Bienvenidos!

 

My name is Mr. C and I am the Spanish teacher here at Winslow High School. Yes, yes, I know what you are thinking. "He's white!" Well, you are right! I lived in Peru for 2 years where I was a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When I returned I studied Spanish at Dixie State University, where I graduated with my Bachelors Degree. You could say I know my way around the Spanish language. 

 

We will travel from Mexico to Spain all while we learn about the grammar, foods, and cultures from North America, Central America, South America, and Europe. 

 

As you go from class to class you will not be fluent in any way BUT you will come out with a solid foundation of the Spanish language, be able to hold basic conversation, be able to read and translate basic text and be able to relate with other cultures from around the world. 

 

I am excited for you to understand and love the Spanish language like I do.
