My name is Laurel Poleyestewa. I am one of the school counselors here at Winslow High School.  I am a proud alumni of WHS and excited to be here to work at the high school from which I graduated. Becoming part of the Winslow community has been exciting as I get to know students, parents, and staff. I look forward to meeting more of the community as our students are an important part of Winslow.

 

I have worked with students at the high school level as a teacher for 17 years and as a school counselor for 16 years.  I also worked with elementary school students for 4 years.  I love working with the young people to help them become successful and giving them the skills they need for after graduation .

 

I am available from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. daily.  The best way to reach me is through email.  Contact me through email for appointments or to let me know of your concerns.  I will always respond to an email.
